Volkswagen MEB platform E3 architecture leads the transformation of automotive electronic and electrical architecture

In the automotive industry, the electronic and electrical architecture is undergoing a transformation from distributed to centralized domains. The E3 architecture of the Volkswagen MEB platform is one of the representatives of this change. It adopts a three-domain architecture, dividing the vehicle into three main functional domains: vehicle control domain controller, intelligent driving domain controller and intelligent cockpit domain controller, which are responsible for vehicle driving, autonomous driving and infotainment functions respectively.
