Xilinx has established cooperation with many lidar companies and provides FPGAs for their processing systems, including RoboSense's automotive-grade MEMS solid-state lidar, Hesai Technology's solid-state and mechanical lidar, Tudatong's (NIO supplier) image-level long-range lidar, and Leishen Intelligent's hybrid solid-state lidar. Xilinx has established cooperation with driver monitoring system (DMS) and in-cabin monitoring system (ICMS) suppliers, such as DMS suppliers Autocruise and Youjia Innovation, and ICMS suppliers Seeing Machines and Eyeris. Currently, Pony.ai, Deeproute.ai and Hongjing Zhijia have all adopted Xilinx FPGAs in their systems. This architecture, which completes distributed edge computing and then passes the results to the central computing unit for processing, has become the choice of OEMs, including TuSimple, Ideal, and NIO. Many Xilinx ecosystem partners displayed their achievements at their booths, including Hongjing Zhijia's integrated hardware and software autonomous driving domain controller (ADCU), Yuanxiang Technology's binocular stereo vision solution (which has become the standard for commercial bus access), Awin's intelligent electronic rearview mirror system (CMS), Zixing Technology's driver monitoring system (DMS), Lingwei Technology's solid-state high-resolution video lidar, Magic Shield's blind spot monitoring system (BSD), Magic Vision Intelligent's remote parking system (RPA), etc., and these solutions also show where the current dividends of autonomous driving lie. Take the Jinmai automatic parking domain controller CAELUS as an example, which uses Xilinx's XA Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC, using the FPGA resources in the MPSoC to run the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to realize the processing of AI and sensor perception, and uses the built-in Advanced RISC Machine (ARM) core of the MPSoC to complete sensor data fusion, and complex logic operations such as meridian planning. In addition, it can also be used to realize Ethernet gateway control.
